Today we gonna talk about Compliment

Before I explain more about the compliment, do you know the definition of compliment?

Okay, let me explain it to you. The expression of praise (compliment) is an expression that is very useful for encouraging others to do their best. You can say expressions of praise in everyday conversation, for example, when someone has done the best, when you visit someone's house for the first time, or even if there is something new about your friend's look.

So now you understand the definition of compliment right? 

This is an example of compliment sentences:

1. Your voice sounds amazing.
2. I like your new haircut. You look cool.
3. This is really a great talent
4. What a cute kitten!
5. You killed it!

After we get compliments, we should give a good answer as a form of appreciation or respect. Normally, we would feel happy when praised right? Therefore, we can return compliments from people with thanks or the sentences below : 

1. I’m glad you enjoyed/liked it.
2. Thank you for saying that.
3. I appreciate that.
4. You too.
5. I’m glad you think so.
