Hellooo guys!

How are youu? I hope you guys are always happy and healthy.

So for today's topic, I will answer some questions for my school assignment which is still related to expressing intentions.

Read the following text and answer the questions below!

Text :

Next Thursday is going to be my younger sister’s birthday. She is going to be 10

years old. We are going to have a simple but awesome birthday party.

My sister gave us the idea to celebrate her birthday last week. She is a creative

girl so she wants to include Art and Creativity. In other words, everything for the

party will be handmade.

Everyone has their own job. My siblings and I are going to create handmade

decorations. My sister would like to decide the theme and tell us what to make.

We would like to paint, cut, glue, draw, and do many more creative activities.

We are going to start doing it tomorrow. Our father is going to buy everything

we need for the decoration. Our mother is going to make the birthday cake and

prepare food as well as drink. I believe it would like to be the coolest party we

have ever had.

1. What does the text mostly tell us about?

The text is telling us about the plan to have a birthday party.

2. How old is she going to be five years later?

This year she is going to be ten years old, so five years later she is going to be fifteen years old.

3. Why are they going to decorate by themselves?

Because her/his (the writer) sister is a creative girl and she gave the idea to decorate the party by themselves

4. Write five sentences from the text above expressing intention!

On the year-end holiday, my family and I are planning to go to Singapore for 3 days. I would like to go to Merlion garden and I will stay at Marina Bay Sands hotel, for some reason, it's one of the famous hotels in Singapore. My family and I are going to play and have fun at Universal Studios Singapore. We will ride the unique rides there and eat some eye-catching food. On the next day, we are going to the biggest zoon in Singapore which is Singapore Zoological Garden. In there we can see various kinds of animals in Singapore. And on the last day, we are planning to walk around the Singapore airport because Singapore airport (Changi Airport) is one of the best airports in the world. I'm sure it's gonna be a wonderful holiday for me and my family

So the conclusion is we can tell what we are planning about using a few words such as would like to and be going to. Planning is the process of thinking about the activities required to achieve the desired goal. We can tell our plan to many people.
